I reviewed this restaurant in 2020 when I last came, and I loved the food, but the peak times meant that we had a long wait... We came back today (Feb 2022), on a Saturday evening which I was expecting to be peak time crowds, but it wasn't overly packed or too loud. The staff were lovely as always. The food came super fast; I loved my Marina Vista Penne so much, my mother loved her pasta dish (the name escapes me), my daughter enjoyed her kids meal, and the biscoff cheesecake was to die for. The prices were very fair, especially for the quality of the food! I'm so happy we came back here and will definitely be coming back again! My review in 2020: I really enjoyed the food, however every course was upto 1 hour apart. I understand that it was peak times, so we waited patiently. Food was very tasty and nice, but my steak was a tad overdone. The gamberoni (pictured) was a little overdone as well, but still delicious! I'd return here for sure, I'd just try to avoid busy peak times.
We recently celebrated our daughter’s pizza-making birthday party and it was fantastic. The staff were incredibly welcoming and Tracey, who looked after us, was absolutely wonderful — so kind and great with the kids, ensuring they all had a fun experience. Communication via emailing arranging the party with Laura was also really prompt, thorough and helpful. The pizzas were delicious, and the setting couldn’t be better, with gorgeous views of the marina adding a special touch. Highly recommend this venue for a family-friendly party with amazing food and a beautiful atmosphere.
The service and food speak volumes. Note: restaurant is on the top floor (3rd?). Also inside a building one wouldn't expect such good food sterling service. All were happy to accommodate and come acrossike good friendly team. The specials are well worth trying. Had the Hake. Excellent, sorry I don't have a picture... Photos are beef medallions, perfect. & Lasagne bites, very clever. Cocktails were a little plain for me however I'd recommend the "Dark Brown" made up for the 1st choice.
Extensive menu selection is very reasonably priced. One of the best vegetarian selections on a menu I've seen in many a restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed all. Our table overlooking the marina was gorgeous. Excellent choice booked a return visit already.
Superb meal here. The starter portion of the fish soup was one of the nicest I’ve tasted. Lovely drinks and friendly warm staff.
We don't eat here regularly but it's such a treat when we do! The food is always beautiful - I had chicken in peppercorn sauce from the March madness menu. The chicken was lovely and tender and the sauce creamy with the perfect amount of pepper. Staff friendly.
We went on a quiet Monday night it's strange building for a restaurant but once inside the ambience was very nice with a great view over the marina. The menu had lots of choice and was very reasonably priced especially the "March 2/3 course offer our food was quality ingredients cooked very well and in large portions. The waiting staff we friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Good honest food in an unusual but nice location.
Monday 7th April- Fantastic food, brilliant service and super views. We were looked after from the minute we walked in until the minute we left. The menu was a great mix of old and new; the lasagne bites starter was excellent. We'll definitely be back!
